Christopher Nemec presented The Misunderstood Inconjunct” on February 19, 2017 at the NCGR 2017 conference in Baltimore, MD

Most astrologers have an idea of what an inconjunct is, but the specifics are often misunderstood.  This presentation covered both the semi-sextile and quincunx aspects are and are not, in fact, inconjunct.

The lecture helped clarify the differences by showing you how the historical view of these configurations relate to other concepts, such as dignity and declination.  From history to mathematics, the lecture also showed you how we have tried to reconcile these twin aspects that have always been out of place since first being classified as non-aspect by Ptolemy. We also learned how to use them more accurately in our modern world.
